INSTRUCTIONS

For external use only
Pre-operative:	Surgical hand disinfection (using brush sponge)
	1. Wet hands and forearms with water
	2. Clean under nails with nail cleaner
	3. Apply 5ml and scrub for 3 minutes
	4. Pay close attention to the nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces.
	5. Rinse and repeat scrub
	6. Rinse thoroughly with running water and dry with sterile cloth.
On the ward	Antiseptic handwash
	1. Wet hands and forearms with water
	2. Apply 5ml and wash for 3 minutes
Pre-operative	Skin antisepsis for the patient
	1. Whole body wash the day before the operation, 2 times
	2. Rinse and dry whole body with clean towel
	3. Repeat following day before the operation.
Post-operative	Skin antisepsis for the patient
	Whole body wash, except the operation wound, usually on the third day after operation, using same procedures described above
