Attikouris Medical is honoured to announce that the German Oncology Center of Limassol, Cyprus, has installed the Dermalog FLC1 Fever Detection System. This provides added detection of high temperatures, and therefore protects staff and patients from potential incidents of the COVID-19 virus.
Founded in 2017, the German Oncology Center (GOC) provides state-of-the-art cancer treatment and diagnostic services. Since its inception, it has treated over 5,000 patients in Cyprus, providing quality care and avoiding expensive patient transfers abroad.
The installation and initiation ceremony was attended by the CEO of GOC Prof. Dr. Nikos Zamboglou.
The Dermalog FLC1 system is a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera that can automatically scan up to 5 incoming individuals and detect fever, which is a key symptom of the COVID-19 pandemic.
